The beautiful beaches of Tuscany 1.

One of the most distinguished regions for its natural and unspoilt beaches, is Tuscany.

From Argentario to the Apuane coast Tuscany is a succession of long beaches of fine sand free or equipped, sheer cliffs, isolated coves, small towns of the sea and villages immersed in a green countryside.

First of all we start from the fact that each of us has his own ideas about what makes a beach more or less pleasant, for this reason I want to point out that there are many beaches in Tuscany besides those that I will present that are equally beautiful and fascinating.

Let's start from the province of Grosseto,. Cala Violina, included in the territory of the municipality of Scarlino is a free and wild beach with crystal clear water. Cala Violina is formed by a long and spacious beach of golden sand, behind which rises a beautiful and thick pine forest that makes the landscape extraordinarily suggestive.

We remain in the province of Grosseto and more precisely to Castiglione della Pescaiacharming village immersed in the Tuscan Maremma that rises on a high ground on the sea. The beach of Castiglione has a long sand language served by numerous bathing establishments, but also from free stretches to the promontory of Punta Ala, where the beach ends and meets a beautiful rocky coastline.

We move on the island of Elba, beautiful and full of beaches I want to point out in particular the spiaggia di Cavolilocated in the southern part of the island. Cabbage is a vast beach of golden sand bathed by a clear blue sea. Surrounded by a typical Mediterranean vegetation the beach has several bathing establishments, in the surroundings hotels, B&B, and restaurants that even in high season can satisfy the many tourists.

We continue our little tour on a beach from the parts of Porto Santo Stefano, Cala Grandelocated on the promontory of Monte Argentario. The beach, long and narrow is separated by rocky peaks that form beautiful bays embellished by a sea and a beautiful backdrop, excellent for snorkeling. On the beach there are no bathing establishments and not even bars or restaurants.

We conclude, with another location in the province of Grosseto, Cala bagno delle Donnein Talamone; Famous historic village overlooking a small promontory in the southern part of the Maremma Park. Majestic rocks and Pebbles form the Bay of Cala Women's bath, where there is a single bathhouse. Above the beach stands the beautiful Rocca Aldobrandesca, dating back to the medieval era.

I hope that my brief description of some of the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany may have encouraged you to leave for a holiday of sea and relaxation.
