Milan Design Week

Milan: the International Furniture Exhibition returns to the design capital.

A point of reference for the exhibition of new products by furniture designers, for the debut of young promises and for the staging of industry excellence, the fair is the most important of its kind in the world.

From Tuesday 17 to Sunday 22 April Rho Fiera will host over 2,000 exhibitors, ready to show all the latest in terms of design, furnishing solutions, materials and installations.

2018 will feature the two-year EuroCucina / FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) and Salone Internazionale del Bagno, which will dictate new trends in technology, functionality and practicality in these spaces.

Business, Quality, Project, System, Youth, Communication, Culture, Milan At the Center. These are the values drawn up in the first Manifesto of the Salone del Mobile, which values the qualities that characterize this event and thanks to which it is growing exponentially.
Growth linked to exhibition exposure but certainly also to events organized concurrently: more than a thousand appointments of the Fuorisalone, disseminated throughout the city including exhibitions, gastronomic initiatives and installations.

The installation by architect Carlo Ratti, which will take place in Piazza Duomo, is particularly innovative.
In honor of one of the themes of this year, sustainability, will come to life a project that will lead visitors on a journey through the four seasons, with the aim of providing inspiration for sustainable planning in interior design.

The good conditions certainly presage the success of the event: even this year it will not be difficult for Milan to maintain once again the supremacy of world design capital.
